According to a new report by the WHO and the United nations, China, the world's largest producer and consumer of tobacco, consumes as much as 44% of the world's cigarettes. The report shows that Chinese smokers smoke 22 cigarettes a day on average. In 2015, there were about 315 million smokers in China, an increase of 15 million over 2010.
