Sometimes it's a word spoken While other times, it's an example set You can find it reading a book Or hearing words of inspiration Go where you must to find that desire And strive to climb your next mountain Another work of short poetry or prose to complement the image captured one afternoon from an overlook along the Foothills Parkway in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The setting is looking across the ridges and peaks of the nearby Western Great Smoky Mountains and then more distant Central Great Smoky Mountains. The rest was aligning myself so that I could capture something pleasing to the eye with the ridges and peaks to my front. I chose to angle my Nikon Z8 Mirrorless Camera slightly downward so that I would raise the horizon higher into the image and capture more of a sweeping view looking across this Blue Ridge Mountain landscape.
