The Newark Earthworks in Newark/Heath, Ohio, consist of three sections of preserved earthworks: the Great Circle Earthworks, the Octagon Earthworks, and the Wright Earthworks. They were built by the Hopewell Native Americans between 100 AD and 500 AD and are the largest earthen enclosures in the world.
