Hijiri Bridge Spanning the Kanda River - stock photo
Tokyo, Japan - May 6, 2024: Hijiri Bridge (癖), spanning the Kanda River (朸泬捶), is located about 350 meters upstream from Shohei Bridge (荻す). Completed in 1927 as part of the Great Kanto Earthquake (憝|湮涾) reconstruction, it connects Kanda Surugadai (朸泬攉碩怢) 4-chome with Yushima (u) 1-chome. Known for its impressive architectural design, it has become a notable Tokyo landmark. The name was chosen through a public competition, and the bridge measures 92 meters in length and 22 meters in width.
