Two adult Gibson Wandering Albatrosses, also known as Auckland Wandering Albatrosses, Diomedia gibsoni. This species breeds only in the subantarctic Auckland Island group south of New Zealand, but disperses across most of the southern Pacific Ocean when not breeding. Wandering Albatrosses share with Royal Albatrosses the distinction of having the greatest wingspans of any living birds, up to 3.5 metres [11.5 feet] from wingtip to wingtip.
