ABC News Special: "The Untold Story of 'The Sound of Music'"
Walt Disney Television News SPECIAL - A new one hour special, "The Untold Story of The Sound of Music" will air on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18 (10-11pm, ET) on the Walt Disney Television Network. To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the classic film "The Sound of Music," Diane Sawyer tours Salzburg, Austria, and the surrounding Alps, with its star Julie Andrews, revisiting many of the actual locations and reflecting back on the most successful movie musical of all time. At the end of filming, this gazebo, used for scenes in the movie was presented to the city of Salzburg. It was restored in 1991 and remains open to the public in Hellbrunn Palace Park.
