Tim Crockett holds his son Carson Crockett, 5, after getting sprayed with water by a Dilophosaurus on display in the DINOSAURS! At the Houston Zoo exhibit on Friday, May 4, 2012, in Houston. The Houston Zoo staff installed 18 dinosaurs in their specially designed exhibit. This year we're featuring 21 dinosaurs, almost twice as many dinosaurs as our first exhibit two years ago. And we're highlighting species that were once found in Texas, with all but two found in our region. Dinosaurs include a towering brachiosaurus, a 7,000 pound T-rex, and new additions such as the Protohadros and Edmontonia both tipping the scales at 1,500 pounds each.
