HUILA, COLOMBIA - 2016/01/15: The tropical Mockingbird is one of the most prized birds by traffickers of fauna and flora at the Tatacoa Desert, the inhabitants say that it is due its easy training to learn songs and repeat them with their singing. Its cost in the black market is from $80,000 to $100,000 CO. Because of the eccentricities of some millionaires who pay and foment this crime to have these birds as pets caged in their mansions or to use their plumage in fashion, these animals are caught and the Colombia's environmental police states that its sale in the market reaches exorbitant numbers, however these traffickers do not pay penalty for this crime and everything is still unpunished.
