The Mofongo platter served with Camarones a la Criolla, Frijoles Arroz, and Maduros at Parada 22 restaurant in San Francisco, Calif., on Thursday, May 18, 2017. The restaurant specializes in traditional Puerto Rican dishes. This is for a Food feature about Puerto Rican restaurants in the Bay Area. Parada 22 is one of the few in San Francisco proper. Please get atmospheric photos of the dining room, kitchen and any staffers (with their names!). In terms of foods, we'd love to shoot the chicharrones de pollo (fried chicken bits), camarones a la criolla (creole shrimp), and some maduros or tostones. And get some Coco Rico in the shots if possible. It's a coconut flavored soda that is quintessential Puerto Rico. Cover possibilities (clean verticals) are a plus, but not required, as we hope to have other cover possibilities for this section.
