The Duke of the Abruzzi, Italian mountaineer and explorer, c1910s(?). Luigi Amedeo Giuseppe Maria Ferdinando Francesco (1873-1933), son of Amadeo I, King of Spain, made the first ascent of Mount Saint Elias (Alaska-Yukon) in 1897 and in 1909 led an expedition to K2 in the Karakorum.
