The Basketball team Bankstown Bruins have bought two players from the states. They are Kelvin Henderson from St. Louis, and Donnie Cruse from Abilene. He was contacted by David Atkins, an agent for Australian basketball, and before long he was stooping through the doorway of Bankstown Stadium."I came out because it was a chance to expand my basketball experience and get a look at another culture."Australia of course is a long rebound from the leagues where the likes of Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Julius Erving (Dr. J) command over $1 million annually.But Henderson is impressed with the standard of the national league.
