President Eisenhower Waving
(Original Caption) President Eisenhower beams his infectious grin and waves to the huge crowd that attended the Republican rally in Denver last night and heard the President appeal for a GOP Congress in November. Applauding the President at left are (from left) Republican National Chairman Leonard Hall; Senate Majority Leader William Knowland; Vice President Richard Nixon; Rep. Leslie Arends; Governor Dan Thornton of Colorado and behind the President Speaker of the House Joseph Martin, of Massachusetts. The President warned that there will be a "cold war of partisan politics" in Washington if the Democrats win control of Congress.
