In a gently sloping landscape with trees on the left sits Rachel on the right, wearing a blue-green skirt and a wide red cloak trimmed with white fur. She covers her camel saddle, in which the Terafim is hidden. Behind her is a high umbrella. She holds a child on her lap and turns her head to her father Laban, who, wearing a purple robe with a yellow cloak, with a club in the left hand and the back to the viewer, has a conversation with the right of him behind an opened suitcase standing Jacob. Jacob is wearing a red robe. He makes a gesture of innocence with both hands because he was unable to find the Terafim in the suitcase. Behind him two camels with a man, a boy, two women and a shepherd. More to the left behind Laban and Rachel, a second man and a lance-leaning warrior, pointing Laban at Rachel. Even more to the left a shepherd with a red cap on the head and a stick over the shoulder. In front of him are flocks of goats, sheep and cows. In the foreground a still life of a porridge plate and a basket with white cloth. As well as three children playing, on the right a boy in a red robe kneeling in front of a girl holding a bag in the right hand and holding the left up; between them in two marbles and more to the rear a girl with a doll. In the far left foreground a sleeping dog, two men looking for a saddle bag, a lying horse and in the near future shepherds with pack animals resting. Not signed. The painting is in a wooden frame.
