Oniwakamaru and the Carp
Oniwakamaru, literally "Little Devil," was uncontrollable as a child and was thrown out of a number of monastery schools. He grew up to become the legendary strongman, Benkei. His youth was filled with many fantastic adventures. In one, his mother fell into a pond and was eaten by a giant carp. "Little Devil" grappled with the monster and managed to kill it with a knife.
