Mrs. Knute Rockne At Captain Cup Ceremony
(Original Caption) Mrs. Knute Rockne, the widow of the famous coach, is shown presenting the All American Captain's Cup for 1932 to Coach Hunk Anderson of Notre Dame for Joe Kurth, the giant tackler of last year's fighting Irish. Hereafter, this trophy will be presented annually to the captain of the team selected by the America Board of Football. Mrs. Rockne donated the ward, and it will be kept by the winner's school until the next captain is selected.
