(Original Caption) Moving pictures by radio the latest...C. Francis Jenkins and his apparatus with which he claims to be able to conduct a movie show by radio. The movies may be transmitted from a central broadcasting station, just as are the concerts, into the home of those who possess a radio receiving outfit. Mr. Jenkins has been experimenting for more than 20 years on the various stages of moving picture exhibition, and holds the Elliot Cresson Gold Medal, awarded by the Franklin Institute of America for his efforts in that direction. Of recent years, he has been experimenting particularly on the transmission of pictures by wireless and only recently conceived the radio transmission problem. C. Francis Jenkins with his apparatus.
