Joey McLeister ¥ jmcleister@startribune.com St. Louis Park,Mn.,Sat.,May 27, 2006--(At left ) David Hilden of Rochester went face first into his banana split at the DQ Grill & Chill in St. Louis Park, one of the challenges during the Salvation Army's Most Amazing Race. Hilden was glancing around at the other teams eating . The race was a scavenger-like-hunt to benefit the Salvation Army's Bed and Bread Club which helps to alleviate hunger and homelessness. Hilden and his nephew, Beau Ellis of Spring Lake Park, were"The Adventure Guys" and they went on to win first place in the race. At the DQ they each had to eat a chili dog, a banana split and a cup of pop without using their hands.
