Ligation Of External Iliac Artery

It begins at the bifurcation of the latter at the sacro-iliac synchondrosis and runs along the brim of the true pelvis to Poupart's ligament, terminating at a point midway between the anterior superior spine of the ilium and the symphysis pubis behind Poupart's ligament, where it becomes known as the femoral artery.
