Inventor of Moving Camera Using Equipment
(Original Caption) C. Francis Jenkins, inventor of the moving picture has now invented a new high speed camera by which the camera slows down the subject one hundred times and will show projectiles from a high-power gun, and will catch a golf ball as it is struck with the club. The magazine of the camera holds 800 feet of film and uses a 1/2 H. P. Moton, with one-half second being required to get up the speed. (Photo by George Rinhart/Corbis via Getty Images)
