Former Major General Edwin A. Walker
Former Maj. Gen. Edwin A. Walker leaves Southwestern Medical School late 10/11 after he had appeared to undergo psychiatric examination to determine if he was mentally competent to stand trial on charges of inciting insurrection during integration rioting at the University of Mississippi. Walker left the school without taking any examination and it appeared it would be at least this weekend before the examination takes place.
