Frida Kahlo Painting Portrait of Mrs. Jean Wight
(Original Caption) 1/22/1931- Even though her famous husband sits by and declines to comment on her art ambitions, Mrs. Diego Rivera, wife of the famous Mexican artist, can and does do very passable portraits. When questioned on his wife's artistic ability, the famous artist's laconic answer was "Quien Sabe? I do not look at it." Photo shows Mrs. Rivera, now doing a mural for the San Francisco Stock Exchange, with one of her portaits of a San Fransico society woman.
