Bush House, An American Addition to Post-War London', circa 1935. Bush House seen from Kingsway in central London. The building was designed by American architect Harvey Wiley Corbett, and the inscription reads: 'To the Friendship of English-Speaking Peoples'. The official opening took place on 4 July 1925 - American Independence Day. Bush House was used to broadcast BBC programmes between 1941 and 2012.
