British actress Jean Simmons who plays Ophelia, arrives at the Odeon theater for the Premiere of Laurence Olivier's "Hamlet" wearing a honey-coloured satin gown with full gathered skirt and a black cobweb lace mantilla over her head on May 7, 1948 in London. Simmons, an Emmy Award winner whose career included roles in "Hamlet", "Black Narcissus" and "Spartacus," died at 80, at her home in Santa Monica, California, after losing a battle to lung cancer on January 22, the Los Angeles Times reported.
