LUSO, PORTUGAL - OCTOBER 4: A bottle of Bucaco Tinto 1983 Reservado reserve red vintage wine stands open before a tasting in the cellar of the Bussaco Palace hotel winery on October 4, 2016 near Luso in central Portugal. The hotel, currently operated by the Almeida family's Thema group, was originally built as the hunting palace of the last Portuguese kings between 1888 and 1907 in the midst of the Serra do Bussaco national forest and is an excellent example of Manueline-Gothic architecture. Bussaco has its own highly-rated but little-known winery dating back to the 1920's with an exclusive production of just 10,000 bottles of red and 10,000 bottles of white wine which are mainly only available at the hotel’s elegant restaurant.
