Betsy Rawls Swinging a Golf Club
Betsy Rawls of Spartanburg, South Carolina, tees off during the third round of the U.S. Women's Open Golf Championship at the winged foot course here. She finished up the tournament with a last round 76 for a 299 total, seemingly one stroke behind Mrs. Jackie Pung's 298, but Mrs. Pung was later disqualified for carding a wrong score on the fifth hole in the last round, and Betsy was declared the new champion.
