The static electricity demonstration was part of the Walker's "Open Field" an event that brings together relaxation, recreation and exploration to the Walker's backyard. Saturday's "Open Field" featured a raising creative kids resource event. People can visit the backyards "tool shed" to check out picnic blankets, sports equipment, books and art supplies for the afternoon. The "Open Field" events run through September 5th.
