TORONTO, ON - April 10 At Better Days cafe: a fresh-from-the-fryer French Cruller and a variety of donuts on display at the counter. Karon is writing about two breakfast spots steps away from each other on Dovercourt Rd. Better Days Donuts and Cafe opened last fall and specializes in old-school Canadian donuts (chocolate dip, creuller, rainbow sprinkles, cherry stick, etc). Masa Deli and Cafe specializes in the classic breakfast egg and sausage sandwich. Both are a throwback to the simple, on-the-go breakfast fare. Something reliable and relatively affordable as we head into uncertain time.
