(Original Caption) Washington, D. C.: U. S. Ambassador To Argentina Returns. Returning from his post as Ambassador to Argentina, Spruille Braden is shown as he arrived at the Washington Airport. Mr. Braden will take up his new post as Assistant Secretary of State in charge of Latin-American Affairs. Braden indicated that if his views were accepted there would be no outside effort to force a solution of the Argentine political situation, but the Argentine people would be given ample encouragement to settle it themselves.
