The Zoological Gardens in Regent's Park, London. 'London Zoo' is the world's oldest scientific zoo and was opened in 1828, originally for scientific study but eventually opened to the public in 1847. Engraving from "Collins' Illustrated Guide to London and Neighbourhood", price one shilling; published by William Collins, Sons & Company, London, in 1871. Look out for the bear being fed near the top of the engraving!
