Tallest building in Japan opens in downtown Tokyo

Video footage taken on Nov. 24 shows Azabudai Hills, a new commercial complex featuring the tallest office building in Japan, opened on the day in Tokyo’s Minato Ward. The 64-story Mori JP Tower stands at about 330 meters, eclipsing the 300-meter Abeno Harukas in Osaka, according to Mori Building Co., the facility’s developer. Along with offices and shops and high-end residences, Azabudai Hills also features a hotel, museum and international school within an estate of approximately 64,000 square meters, or 1.4 times larger than Tokyo Dome.
