Prayers, marches and candles in Japan mark one year of war in Ukraine

Video footage taken in Hiroshima, Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya on Feb. 24 showing some of the various gatherings held in Japan to mark the first anniversary of the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Buddhist priests are seen praying in front of the Atomic Bomb Dome at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park on the same day as a mass was held at the St. Alban's Anglican-Episcopal Church in Tokyo, where a candlelight ceremony also took place at the front yard of the United Nations University. In Nagoya about 120 Ukrainians and their supporters marched in the rain in a demonstration calling for an end to war. (The Asahi Shimbun)
