'Merchant of Death' arms trader nabbed in Thailand
Notorious arms dealer Viktor Bout, branded the Merchant of Death for feeding weapons to conflict zones around the world, has been captured in a sting operation in Bangkok. The 41-year-old Russian, a former Soviet air force officer, is said to have supplied arms to Afghanistan's hardline Taliban militia, Osama bin Laden's Al-Qaeda terror network, Marxist rebels in South America and former Liberian warlord Charles Taylor. US officials accuse him of conspiring to sell weapons to Colombia's FARC rebels. (Footage by AFPTV via Getty Images)
