Film: 'Tar' premiere: Cate Blanchett and Nina Hoss interview; ENGLAND: London: Piccadilly Circus: INT Cate Blanchett (actress) and Nina Hoss (actress) LIVE interview SOT, reporter in some shots its a meditation on power / set in classical world but you don't need to know anything about classical music to understand / it does touch on cancel culture, doesn't everything / extraordinary collaboration with Todd (Field / director) / Cate is so fun, witty, generous and comes along with being an actor that immerses herself fully into what she's doing / it was a challenge but I love a challenge / I've been stalking Nina for a long time finally we're together / it's a European film in a lot of ways / climate change - can't fly everywhere / I feel a close up coming on *stares into camera* / Every institution has had to reckon with abuses of power, we have to welcome change by dealing with these / would you have gone - totes! / so many amazing films made this year and female performances and I would have loved to be there to celebrate those / working with the orchestra we had to really stand up there with them and make music / life changing / I would have thanked every woman who has been working in the industry this year / female directors who weren't recognised by the globes / thank Todd Field / films like this don't come along every year / go see it!
