UK: Fridge Of Banksy Artwork In Margate Removed, Returned And Removed Again
A Banksy artwork 'Valentine's Day Mascara' appeared in Margate on Tuesday, February 14. Parts of the art piece, a fridge freezer and a broken chair, were removed by Thanet District Council hours after for safety reasons. The local authorities returned the fridge to the original site on Wednesday after a backlash. However, on Thursday, it was removed for a second time by the Red Eight Gallery in London and now is storage with the homeowner's permission.Video Location: Park Place, Margate, Kent, UK (Footage by Gary Evans/Spectee via Getty Images UGC)
