Arnold Palmer and Hal Berry at Houston Open
Arnold Palmer (right), 28-year-old former National Amateur Champion, receives the Houston Open trophy filled with $7,500 of first place money from Hal Berry, President of the Houston Golf Association, after Palmer won the Open here February 25th. Palmer's wife Winnie, holds daughter Peg, who likes to play with the money. Palmer sank a 15-foot par putt on the 18th green for a nine under 279 total to edge Doug Ford by one stroke for the title.
