With a height of 3798 m above sea level it is the highest mountain in Austria and with more than 5000 summit climbs per year, a popular destination for mountaineers to this day. Wood engraving after a drawing by Hans Beat Wieland (Swiss painter, 1867 - 1945), published in 1897.
